HP Recommended
HP Z420
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Using Hp Z420, tyring to link a Presonus audio interface to thunderbolt connector, which I already installed. I'm using Pro Tools and a Yamaha  Dm2000 console. Can anyone help me accomplish linking all devices ? If not, I'd like to at least get the audio into Pro tools . At the very least can someone point me to the thunderbolt 2 driver-156A

Hi Wgmob,

Can you please confirm you have this card?

I managed to find the following details;

However, I'm unable to locate a W10 driver so I can only assume the card might be quite old? The only driver I can find is for W7(64bit) to W8.1(64bit), i.e. no W10 driver? You could try the W7 driver to see if that installs;

Please note, as per the HP guide, the card must be installed in PCI slot 3. e.g.

You must install the card into the correct PCIe socket for your workstation as indicated in the following list. The socket closest to the processor is socket 1.
  • HP Z820: PCIe socket 5
  • HP Z620: PCIe socket 3
  • HP Z420: PCIe socket 3
  • HP Z230: PCIe socket 4
