Serial to USB Converter Windows 7, 64 Bit

Purchased a new HP desktop computer, but it does not have a Serial connection.  Could someone suggest a serial to USB converter compatible with Windows 7, 64 Bit.

www.newegg.com probably has the device.  You might need to go to the manufacturer's web site and research W7 64 bit support.

It possibly could present a problem depending on exactly why a serial adapter is needed.  Some devices simple refuse to work with those type of connections.  Care to share just what you are trying to do?

Interface a Yaesu FT-450 radio with a call sign database with uses a DB-9 RS-232 com port to control radio functionality.

I did some looking @newegg.com and found this:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812191067&cm_re=usb_serial-_-12-191-067-_-Prod...

Notice the one comment about Win 7 64bit
