I have a HP Pavilion Desktop 510-p030 and got mesage that the CPU fan is failed.    Where and how do i buy a new one?

Hi:

 

Below is the link to the parts list for your PC.

 

HP PartSurfer

 

The CPU fan is sold as part of the heatsink assembly.

 

858654-001
Heatsink - Shave2/Razr, Intel

 

HP does not sell the part, so I recommend you do a search by the part number on eBay, Amazon, a general search and see if you can find one for sale.

 

HP Parts Store - HP Computer Parts - HP Printer Parts - Compaq Parts

 

There would be no need to remove the heat sink.

 

Just swap the bad fan from the current heatsink with the new one.
