HP Pavilion Desktop - 570-p035t

Hi. This morning I turned on my PC and it was making a loud sizzling sound. After hearing this sound, I turned the PC off for a couple of minutes and then turned it back on. The sound temporarily stopped, but I am concerned. It seems like it was coming from the fan area, but I am not sure. What could the problem be and how can I correct it?

Thanks.

hi

the best thing you could do would be to open the computer..
see if it happens again, and identify the source, enjoy it if a little dusty to clean it all up!

Hi, and thanks for your response. The sizzling sound hasn't occurred since  a couple of days ago; however, I took off the cover of my PC and I didn't notice anything unusual. The PC is not dusty, so I still have no idea what caused the sizzling sound. It wouldn't be a capacitor, would it?

Impossible to say, there are many components that can be a source of noise
It's hard to get an idea of what you heard..
Sometimes it can be just a vibration, it sometimes happens to my old hp, if it is badly positioned..
But hey, if it doesn't happen again, we may never know.
