HP Slimline Desktop - 411-a000nl (ENERGY STAR)

Hi

following the issue on DDR upgrade (few people claimed the same problem on their desktop) i'm asking if it is possible to put in the surely workin dock a 8gb DDR to bypass the (possible) damage of the second dock.

Thanks Prométhée

In the meanwhile the motherboard factory confirmed me that no 8gb ddr can be put in a 4gb dock, so for whoever fears a damage in the second dock of his motherboard, if I got well, the machine cannot stand a 8gb ddr in the first dock, but just 4gb.

Thanks for your support

Marco

I wrote the pretty same question to the help desk account of this site (now I'm not sure if it's just a seller or the producer of the motherboard) and they told me that just 4gb can fit in each dock.

Right now I'm waiting for HP answer, since I opened a ticket on the issue
