Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I've just been having an issue with my keyboard. I have a HP Pavilion x360 laptop.

Usually upon booting up the laptop, a group of keys do not work. This group includes most number keys ('1', '2', '7', '8', '9', '0') and the down and right arrow keys. To get them to work somewhat, I just press and hold one of them until the laptop recognises it. When one of them starts working, they all work together.

When holding a key, I don't need to alter pressure or press down harder/lighter, as long as I hold it for enough time, the laptop will eventually register the press.

And, when they start working, the problem keys can still be a bit inconsistent. If I hold the key '9' for long enough, the laptop will sometimes not register the input after a random amount of time holding it (but will subsequently recognise it again and continue the string).

I'm not sure whether this is a hardware or software issue. If I hold down a problem key consistently (without change in pressure or intensity of the press), the laptop will eventually pick up on it. Would this suggest that it's a software issue? Unfortunately, I don't own an external keyboard to confirm that point...

A solution to this would be much appreciated!
