Hello
I have a mini Desk 600 G9 with a 12500t CPU. Model Snr.: [edit]
Can you swap the CPU for a 13700T or 13700CPU?
Does a 90 watt power supply have enough power since the CPU can draw up to 106 Watt?
Is a special BIOS update necessary?
Maybe someone has already tried it and can share their experiences with it in the community!
Thanks

This is an interesting question.
Your HP Elite Mini 600 G9 PC IDS Base Model is issued with the Intel Q670 chipset. According to Intel, this chipset is indeed compatible not just with 12th gen processors, but also 13th gen -and 14th gen processors as well. That doesn't mean that a proprietary (HP) motherboard could handle all of these processors, especially the 14th gen processors, but it is a start.
So, your i7-12600T has a 35-watt "base power" and a 74-watt "max turbo power", whereas an i7-13700T has a 35-watt "base power" and a 106-watt "turbo power". An i7-13700 has a 65-watt "base power" and whopping 219-watt "max turbo power". The i7-13700's power requirements would make it incompatible with an HP Mini.
When I look at HP's partsurfer, it appears that an i7-13700T would/should be compatible with your HP Mini, but I couldn't find a User who tried a 13th gen processor here. Btw, given the higher power requirement of an i7-13700T, a power supply upgrade would be advisable. There is a 120-watt power supply available, with p/n: L89695-001 "SPS-120W AC ADPTR PFC SMART 7.4mm Slim".
There are three (relatively slightly) different motherboards listed for an HP Elite Mini 600 G9, and all of them are issued with the Q670 chipset:
1.) N50975-601 "SPS-MB BERZERKR RPLQ670 DGPU DM23 WIN"
2.) N03124-601 "SPS-MB BERZERK ADLQ670 DM22 WIN"
3.) N44996-601 "SPS-MB BERZERKR RPLQ670 DM23 WIN"
Hope this was helpful.
Kind Regards,
