TPM header available? (ENVY Desktop - 750-150xt CTO)

As you all know, a major stumbling block for upgrading to Windows 11 will be the requirement for TPM 2.0. I am wondering whether anyone knows whether my otherwise solid desktop has motherboard support to plug in a TPM module? Or am I just being forced to live with Windows 10? (Or buy a new desktop?)

for details on TPM, and how to tell if your prcoessor includes TPM.

Maybe, you can upgrade the processor on your computer to one that includes TPM.

I suggest you update the BIOS from this Link: https://hp.care/2MznadV

Also, clear the TPM cache

1. Open the TPM MMC  by typing tpm.msc in the service box

2. If the User Account Control dialogue box appears, confirm that the action it displays is what you want, and then click Yes.

3. Under Actions, click Clear TPM.

4. You will be prompted to restart the computer. During the restart, you might be prompted by the UEFI to press a button to confirm that you wish to clear the TPM.

5. After the PC restarts, your TPM will be automatically prepared for use by Windows 10.

I really appreciate your response but I don't seem to be any closer to resolving this:

• The link you provided took me to drivers for "HP Pavilion Notebook - 15-ab104ur"

Somehow I doubt you'd want me to install that BIOS on my "ENVY Desktop - 750-150xt CTO"

• Or do you really intend that?

1. I went to the drivers page for my model.
2. I downloaded and installed the most recent date for BIOS:
   A0.17 Rev.A 14.7 MB May 14, 2018
3. I rebooted via Windows to UEFI firmware settings.
4. I checked the UEFI firmware BIOS settings to see if there was any TPM reference for the Intel Core(TM) i5-4690K 
   and /or options for turning TPM on for that processor. There was none in the settings.
5. I booted into Windows 10.
6. I ran TPM.MSC. It tells me:
   "Compatible Trusted Platform Module (TPM) cannot be found on this computer."

Any other ideas? Once Windows 11 starts appearing, there will be other owners asking about this.
