HP PAVILLION P6 2388EA

HI there

I have bought the microsoft flight sim 2020 and have an HP PAVILLION P6 2388EA desktop, I have loaded the ten discs on to the hard drive but quite obviously the system cannot handle the demands of the game. Is it possible to upgrade the internals to a higher spec including fitting a graphics card or is it a lost cause !!Basically the specs for the game as quoted are.......

CPU..INTEL I5 8400  or  RYZEN 5 1500X  /   GPU...GTX970  or   RADEON RX590.  I would like to hear if something close to those specs would fit.

many thanks

Your 8 year old system is a lost cause.  The specifications you listed are for the minimum play.  You can not get to that level, as the PCIE slot is Gen 2.

Get an Omen 875-1040st and configure it to match these as a minimum. The RAM on that board is specific, you must purchase then, NOT later. Specifications:

Intel i7-9900X and 32GB motherboard RAM, 1TB NVMe SSD, 1TB HD, and a 8+ GB Video RAM  card like the new RTX 3080, a $700 card and 750W PSU to support it.  Expect a 3-4 month wait on the card for it to

Best style MSFS joysticks are running $240-280

So to play a $120 program you will spend a total of over $3200 plus the cost of the game.

This system is feedback driven thru Solution and Kudo flags. It's the only means of knowing if you have been served. Please click Accept as Solution, if your problem is solved. To say THANK YOU, press the "thumbs up symbol" to render a KUDO. You can render both Solution and KUDO..
