USB 2.0 v150w

Hi,

I purchased a USB pen that is supposed to be 64GB. However I have just put it into my laptop (with nothing loaded onto it yet) and it only has 57.7GB ? Obviously I have paid for less than what it says on the box. Why is this?

Thanks.

Welcome to the forum.  Well the answer to that question - as it has been discussed many, many times - the amount of available space on a flash drive or hard drive is always less then the advertised space.  Here is a post concerning that

In the case of the one pictured, it might be that there are some files on there already.  Since there a folders already made for you, I expect there might be some samples of items or advertising or both.
