Example: HP MOI F0022na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Only Two USB ports working out of Eight. The two that work or the blue ones on the back which are taken up with the keyboard and mouse. Printer will not connect, only if I remove mouse and insert in blue port. External hd will power up but not be recognized on PC. Any help please or does it have to be returned.

If this is under warranty, then by all means return for repair.  If out of warranty, then it most likely needs more than the user can provide.

If the back ports work, then possibly use a powered hub to give more USB ports.

Something like this:

Get one with an external power supply to avoid overloading the USB host port.
