Elitedesk 800 G4 Mini Pc
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Unable to detect m.2 sata 3 on my elitedesk 800 g4 mini pc. I already tried removing the hdd tray to redirect it to post. Already tried diskpart but still the drive on pcie slot is undetected. My m.2 is teamgroup MS30 SSD SATA III 256gb. 

please help

The slot is an m.2 NVMe Key M, is that correct?  If so, why the SATA m.2 device.  That is Key B + M.

To add to what wb2001 posted, the HP quickspecs for your 800 G4 DM clearly indicate that only NVMe M.2 SSD's are supported.

Actually the only M.2 SSD's supported for the entire lineup are NVMe.

 

See page 15.

 

The only SATA drives supported are the 2.5" variety.
