Is it possible to replace the 16GB Optane with a 32GB Optane?
Is Optane model MEMPEK1W032GA the right part for this desktop?
It appears that I need to disable the 16GB, replace with the 32gb, and enable the 32Gb. Of course, with restarts during the process.

Yes. You have to disable, install then enable it after Restart your machine. Restart only won't automatically enable new device. Did you also add more RAM to your machine ?
