Can this machines hdd be upgraded to a ssd if so what type ssd can i upgrade it to?

I just bought this one today. It is the second time I have bought one. The last one was 250 GB.
This drive provides the best performance for the price, IMHO (which is why I bought them).

Hi:
Yes, you can replace the 500 GB 3.5" mechanical hard drive with a 2.5" SSD.
You would need to buy a 3.5" to 2.5" adapter to mount the SSD so it fits where the 3.5" drive goes.
Since they sell so many kinds of adapters, I wouldn't be able to help you with that, and suggest you look at the various adapters there are and see which one would work best for your specific PC.
