Upgrade HP Slimeline s5-1204

HP Slimline s5-1204
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So I have an HP Slimline S5 - 1204, and I want to know if I can upgrade it to a GTX 750. I have more RAM and a better power supply put into it. I was reading that you can put a 610 in there but I just want to make sure if I better graphics card would work.

@Btrent652 , welcome to the forum.

I don't believe that the GTX 750 will work.  It requires UEFI in the motherboard instead of a standard/Legacy BIOS.  HP didn't begin using UEFI until mid-October, 2012: https://www.howtogeek.com/56958/HTG-EXPLAINS-HOW-UEFI-WILL-REPLACE-THE-BIOS/

Your computer was released on January 4, 2012.  The last series to not require UEFI were the GTX 660/670's.  You should make certain that you have enough wattage for either model.

If you have questions about any of the cards your best option is to contact the manufacturer's Tech Support.  They have always been very helpful.
