Hello,

A 180W came with the desktop.

I'd like to upgrade my PSU so I can install a decent graphics card.

The only upgrade unit that appears to fit the machine is a 400W - HP part number L04618-800.

Out of stock everywhere and ordered this through HP on 6/23/2020 with an estimated shipping date of 8/28/2020.

Is there any other PSU that will fit my machine besides the L04618-800?

No sure where you go the correct information, but there are only limited options, and these cost more.

I wrote that spreadsheet, so it's a firm answer. The L04618-800 is in short supply. Only the 3 listed PSU have the needed 6+2 power plug. The 400W  # 942332-001 is available via the web, but it costs about $90 from China (Express delivery). The 500W L05757-800 is $125.

Suggest you shop the numbers.

I have a HP Pavilion 590-p0025 that came with the 310W PSU. I have a 1650 Super running in mine without issue. I guess it depends on your definition of decent. For me this was decent enough. It also BARELY fits in the case. 

 

Just be sure to consider cooling when deciding to upgrade.

Does you 310W have a 6 pin PCIe power plug. It was rumored one of the 3 versions had it.

According to NVidia, the GTX 1650 Super is a 100W card requiring a 6 pin power plug.  What is the make of your GTX 1650 Super?
