Hi everyone,

 

My computer:

Omen Obelisk 875-1040st

CPU:i7-9700K

GPU: Nvidia 2070 Super

HDD: 1TB HDD + 16 GB NVMe Intel Optane Memory

Prospective upgrade:

I want to upgrade my PC's storage space. I want to add a 1TB SSD and two 2TB HDDs. The SSD is a Samsung 1TB 970 EVO Plus and the HDDs are 2TB WD Black.

Questions:

Can I upgrade to a 1TB 970 EVO Plus?

What do I do with the 16 GB NVMe Intel Optane Memory card?

What is the best way to move the info from my current storage to the new storage space?

 

Some help would be nice thanks.

Optane is a special issue. Read up, or you will lose data.

What is it....... How does it work............pitfall of improperly  removing it,.

 

It will support 2 hard drives, either 3.5 or 2.5 (Same tray fits either)  See page 16.
