HP does not recommend upgrading or downgrading hardware parts or software that is bundled with the product as It may affect the manufacturer's warranty and performance, however, you could change the configuration at your own discretion.

Thanks for your prompt response. My product is out of warranty. You said I can upgrade but it may jeopardise the performance. Can HP authorised Service outlet not ensure the upgraded performance?

You may upgrade the parts of the PC at your own discretion. HP will not guarantee the performance.

Kindly refer to the service guide of the PC before making any hardware changes to the PC. Click here and enter your product number or name.
