Envy TE01-0150xt
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Context for my question: I recently used the $600 stimulus check many of us received to buy an Envy TE01-0150xt desktop (customize to order version.)

In order to minimize cost and (I naively believed) time for it to be shipped, I stuck with the base configuration. The idea was to upgrade it component-by-component later, as money permits.

I know I'm going to have to buy the more powerful 400w power supply before I can install a dedicated GPU. What I'd like to know is, what's the most powerful Nvidia GPU I can install, along with 32Gb of RAM and an SSD, without overwhelming the PSU? Additionally, which brands of RAM and SSD are compatible with this machine?

Thanks in advance for the information. 🙂

@Hellzapoppin

Everyone seems to want to buy cheap, then this happens.

The PSU utilized is an HP proprietary designed unit, Over the counter will not work.

Thanks. Yes, I figured I would need to get the 400w PSU from the HP Parts store; I've looked it up. I'm just wondering which brand/model of discreet GPU is compatible with this chassis/motherboard. Since it can be customized with up to an RTX 2060, I'm just wondering which brand. Also which brand of RAM is compatible with the motherboard in this desktop.
