Product: HP Z800 Workstation

Hi everyone, I'm new to this community and I need some assistance.

Recently, I purchased an HP Z800 workstation but there I think I've got a basic one.

 

Here's what I know so far:

  • My current Z800 has an 800W PSU, but I'm considering upgrading some components that might require more power.
  • I've been reading about the 1110W PSU option and its compatibility with specific cooling setups (e.g., part no. 5363217-001).

My questions are:

  1. What factors should I consider when choosing a new PSU for my Z800? (e.g., wattage requirements for specific components, compatibility with the motherboard, etc.)
  2. Is upgrading the cooling system necessary when switching to a higher-wattage PSU (like the 1110W)?
  3. Are there any specific cooling solutions recommended for the Z800 with a powerful PSU?
  4. Any general tips or resources for upgrading the Z800 power supply and cooling system?

I've been searching online, but any insights from experienced Z800 users would be greatly appreciated!
