I've been trying to get a straight answer on upgrading the stock PSU that came with my EliteDesk800 G3 Tower in order to power a new GPU. The current PSU (Part Number: 901761-002) does not have any 6 or 8 pin connectors and its measurements are 95mm x 72mm x164mm. The upgrade I'm looking at is https://www.ebay.com/itm/276102902266 which matches the dimensions and has a max wattage of 500, nearly double the stock PSU. When I reached out to the seller, they said it wouldn't "fit" but I double checked the dimensions for both and it definitely is the same. My question is, if it physically fits in the space and has the same two 4-pin connectors and main 7-pin connector PLUS the missing 6+2-pin connector I need, can I use it? Is there any potential damage I could cause to the components? Thanks!
