HP Envy Desktop TE01
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I currently have a 180w power supply. I purchased a NVidia Video card with a PCIe connection. Is there a Power Supply I can use to upgrade that will plug into the HP Motherboard and also provide power to my NiVidio video card?

@JDM2112,

. If you have said the exact model number, asd NVidia card,  I could have looked up the requirements.

I am linking my spreadsheet that explains all the models of power supplies.  These are HP proprietary designs.  The TE01 is a series.  After that, comes the individual model numbers. It is a continuing project. If I get your model and the card, and what PSU you installed, I can make an update based on your changes (after you say it works).  Those get marked in Green.

I have a HP Envy Desktop  TE01-0175

Power supply is 185w which has three power connectors to the motherboard - a Rother Motherboard I believe

Purchased a VGA - SC ULTRA GAMING NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti 6GB GDDR6 PCI Express 3.0 Graphics Card - Black/Gray

I purchased a EVG 600w Powersupply, but the mothboards has two 4 pin connectors and an auxillary pin connector, so was not useful as it had all kinds of connectors, but didn't the two 4pin Motherboard connectors. Seems I need a specific HP PowerSupply that can plug into the three connecctors and provide a connection for the PCIe NVidia card.

@JDM2112,

What is the product code?  Your missing part of the model number.

The specs on the TE01-175xt  (Rother board) does not conform to an 180W. Only the 400W.

I can not find a simple model 175.  I find 175xt, 175mnm, 1175xt, 0175xt.

My spreadsheet listed the PSU models.

I made a mistake on the type of Computer. I have a TE01-0034 HP Envy Desktop with a PCIe Slot. I purchased an NVidia Graphics card which fits, but needs power power to EVGA - SC ULTRA GAMING NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti 6GB GDDR6 PCI Express 3.0 Graphics Card - Black/Gray. The current power supply is 180w.
