HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop 790-0819no
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi

I have a HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop 790-0819no and was wondering if it is possible for me to upgrade the RAM in the computer (8 gb), yet i have a hard time figuring out if it is possible (it should be known that my computer-skills isn't the most ideal). Does anyone know if it is possible for me to upgrade to 12 gb (maybe even 16 gb) RAM and maybe what to buy?

Thank you in advance.

You have 8go
you can therefore buy another 8gb module in order to upgrade to 16gb, it is suitable for "normal" use

I give you the reference, but you will have to search directly, it is not very practical for me

use your search site by giving the reference, and or search among partners in your country

otherwise try buying an equivalent module if it is too expensive
Compare buying two modules other than hp, sometimes it can be cheaper

is it ok ?

you already have an 8go module, it seems
it will be necessary to check
You can buy an identical module, or the closest
But if it is not the same you will probably have to buy another one identical to the one purchased

If you wish I can look for the hp reference but it may be more expensive!

Hi,

Thanks! Just to make sure, you would suggest that i buy a “8 GB DDR4-2666 SDRAM” as the computer should be able to have up to 4 (32 gb / 8 gb modules) but they need to be identical to the ones that came with the computer to be sure that it is compatible?

If it is not too much to ask, then yes please, can you find the HP reference (and maybe for EU-delivery)?

Thank you in advance.
