Upgrading RAM in a HP Omni 220 All in One

Product Name: HP Omni 220-1080qd
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I'd like to upgrade the RAM in my all in one and I'm finding conflicting answers on whether this can be done.  I currently have  8GB (2x 4GB DDR3 1333 SODIMM- 10600)

I've got Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit as my OS.

Most of the specs for my computer list 8GB as the maximum amount of RAM possible, but another source on the HP website advises that it depends on the OS, and that with Windows 7 premium 64 bit, 16GB is the max.

I don't want to purchase memory that won't work.  Can someone confirm which is the correct maximum amount of RAM for this model?

Thank you!

HI.

Memory upgrade information

Dual channel memory architecture

Two DDR3 SO-DIMMs (200-pin) sockets

  • PC3-8500 (DDR3-1066)
    PC3-10600 (DDR3-1333)
    Non-ECC memory only, unbuffered
    Supports 1GB, 2GB, and 4GB DDR3 SO-DIMMs
Supports up to 8 GB on 64-bit PCs
Supports up to 4 GB on 32-bit PCs
*32-bit PCs cannot address a full 4.0 GB of memory.
32-bit systems cannot address a full 4.0 GB of memory

Similar models if they support up to 16GB, theirs only reaches up to 8GB.

Regards.
