HP Recommended
Product: A6040n
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (32-bit)

Right now, my computer has this ram:

Hynix 1GB PC2-4200U-444-12

 

Can I replace it with 

DDR2-5300U 667 MHz

 

I notice that the motherboard supports that ram but I wanted to check if the processor would be compatible with the new RAM, too.  The processor is the Intel Core 2 6320.
