I am wanting to upgrade the video card in my Windows 10 desktop PC. I was wondering if there was anything I need to get from the current video card and match (for compatability) to a new video card?

Here is a HP Knowledge Base article that will explain what you have to consider when upgrading the video card: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Gaming-Knowledge-Base/Upgrade-Video-Card/ta-p/7481981

There are three main things to consider when upgrading the video card: 1) the length of the card.  The article tells you how to measure the space to assure there is good airflow. 2) the wattage required to run the card properly and 3) does the card require any 1x6-pin, 1x8-pin or both PCIe power connectors.

The power supply unit (PSU) in your computer is 300W.  This will limit the cards that you buy.  I normally suggest at least 500W.  The article explains more about power.  The 300W PSU's don't come with any of the additional PCIe power connectors.  A full modular PSU is good for a smaller mid-size case.  They allow you to use only the cables that are absolutely necessary.  This allows for better airflow.

The PCI Express x16 slot on the motherboard is Gen 3.0.  This should allow you to use a newer card, as long as, your computer meets the other requirements.

Once you read the article that I provided you should have a better idea of which cards will work.  If you have further questions you can choose a card manufacturer and contact their Tech Support for help with choosing the best card for your computer.  They are the experts on their products.

If you read my post you will know what you need to buy a new card.  There is nothing on your existing card that you need to know.
