I want to upgrade my memory for my HP Envy Desktop 750-120 PC but when I tried to buy an 8g chip there were so many to choose from. How do I know which one will work on my PC?

Hello;
Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!
Following are the memory specs for your PC:
- Dual channel memory architecture
- Two 240-pin DDR3L DIMM sockets
- Supports the following:
- PC3L-12800 (DDR3L-1600)
- PC3L-10600 (DDR3L-1333)
- Supports 1 GB, 2 GB, 4 GB and 8 GB DIMMs
To see what you have currently, download and install this utility: https://www.cpuid.com/
When that runs, select the Memory tab.

I received my 8g ram and installed it but it appearantly wasn't the right one and now my computer won't turn on. The power light just blinks and the monitor isn't receiving any signal. Is there any way to fix my PC or should I start shopping for a new one?
