Would the ssd drive with serial number: 1PD60AA work in my pc HP pavilion gaming desktop 790-0026no with Serial No: [personal info removed]. If it doesnt work what ssd could i upgrade to that is 512gb to 1tb.

It probably would but it is extremely expensive from the models I've seen on Amazon, and it can't be any better than the Samsung 980 and the first link I posted is just for the 512 GB model...

The one thing that I have noticed about HP drives, is I have read many posts where folks needed warranty support if the drive failed and none of them are recognized in the HP warranty system.
