HP Compaq 6000 Pro Microtower PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have been having problems with running FreeCAD 020 on my HP Compaq 6000 Pro Microtower PC because the built in graphics controller doesn't support Open GL or directX above R10 well. I found an AMD Radeon graphics card that will fit in the PCIexpress 16 slot  that does support these standards. Is there a need to disable the builtin graphics controller and if so how is that done? Or does the bios automatically detect the new graphics card? I am upgrading the memory to 8 GB as well.

Hi:

What model AMD graphics card do you want to install?

If it is supported, your PC will automatically disable the onboard Intel graphics adapter and the AMD graphics card would then become the graphics adapter for your PC.
