Product: HP Pavilion 690-0067c
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am wondering what is the best way going forward to upgrading the stock psu to something to at least a 400w or 450w psu, I currently have the stock 310w psu (TFX Form factor). I am hoping to upgrade the gpu to a GTX 1660 and for that I need at least a 400w psu. What can I go about to upgrade the psu.

@Jeeg , welcome to the Community.

 

Your motherboard is HP proprietary.  It has a 4-pin power connector instead of a standard 24-pin ATX power connector.  This means that you will have to buy a PSU upgrade from HP.  They have a 500W (L05757-800) that will work with your motherboard.  Here it is on HP PartSurfer: https://partsurfer.hp.com/Search.aspx?searchText=L05757-800

 

You can order it by selecting "Add to Cart".  You don't have any other option since we haven't been able to find an adapter anywhere on the Internet.
