Desktop-PC HPE-029de
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I have a very old HP PC-Desktop HPE-029de with a old Graphic Card (NVIDIA GeForce GTX260) and I would like to know if I have any chance to do an update to i.e. NVIDIA GTX 1660 or something similar. The computer is working pretty well but the Graphic Card is not compatible with some of actual games....

Thanks and best regards,

XAvier

@JavierPerez,

The circa 2008 computer and graphic card are Legacy BIOS.  Modern graphic cards used UEFI BIOS.

You can  not use a UEFI graphic card in that old machine. It just will not boot. There is no upgrade path.

This system is feedback driven thru Solution and Kudo flags. It's the only means of knowing if you have been served. Please click Accept as Solution, if your problem is solved. To say THANK YOU, press the "thumbs up symbol" to render a KUDO. You can render both Solution and KUDO..
