I have a new HP Omen 30L Desktop computer, with one SSD installed at the factory, and am exploring my upgrade options. There are two M.2 slots on my Intel motherboard. The factory installed NVMe SSD occupies one of them . The second slot In some places is labeled "Second SSD", and in other places is labeled "WLAN". I have wireless LAN (factory installed) working on this computer, but the slot labeled WLAN is empty. Are M.2 type M slots for SSD and M.2 slots for WLAN the same thing? Can the WLAN slot accommodate a NVMe SSD drive? I don't want to trash a 125 dollar drive, and I sure don't want to trash a 3000 dollar computer. So, I want to be sure of what I am doing before I do It.
Thanks in advance for sharing your knowledge.

Assuming your HP Omen 30L Desktop's motherboard is a Moria3, as seen here: HP Desktop PCs - motherboard specifications, Moria3 | HP® Customer Support, only the "M.2 socket 3, key M" is compatible for NVMe SSD's (PCIe Gen 3 x4) modules.
The "M.2 socket 1, key A" is a dedicated Wi-Fi/Bluetooth slot.
