23-q120 all-in-one
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Want to install 2.5 " SATA SSD in 23-q120 to replace HDD.

However the original disk enclosure (with 2.5" insert),  does not allow SSD connector  to align with PCs cabling connector.  The  PCs cabling  in this model is screwed to the computer housing and I am reluctant to disassemble the cable mounting which would allow the coonection.   Has anyone made this conversion?   Rather than use original disk enclosure, is there a disk mounting kit on the market that may work?  Any  other suggestions?

@Dwight_Racioppo,

That question has been answered. See here for solutionSee here for the part.

If you want to go cheap, install the drive, slide the cover back on the tabs. One screw thread of the SSD will align with the large holes on the top of the 3.5" caddy. . Using a thin washer large than the hole you can get 1 screw to hold the drive.

I think I will use the original disk encloser which has the mounting screw location in the front; the alternate enclosues do not have that screw location.  Thx for answering the question - very thorough.

@Dwight_Racioppo,

I would call the vendor. From what I can see, the item is an adapter to slide into the existing mount.
