Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My desktop computer has 128GB SSD and I  have bought Crucial 500 GB SSD  to replace it. Is there a simple way of doing this myself ( I'm not too bad on most things) Cannot find a good video to assist me. Running Windows 10 Pro and want a clean copy of Windows too so that I can muck it up the way I want it! Would appreciate any help in this regard Thanks

@Glasswitch , welcome to the forum.

Removing the old and installing a new M.2 is fairly straight forward.  Here is the Upgrading and Servicing Guide: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05934592

On Pages 18 thru 20 are instructions on the removal and installation of the M.2, SSD.  Just take your time and you will be fine.  There are numerous videos online to help you, also.

You can use Microsoft Upgrade Assistant to do a clean install of Windows 10 Pro: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

There is a section in the Assistant where you can choose your version of Windows.  If you have a Product Key enter it when it is requested.  If you want to buy one later just say you don't have one.

Please click the Thumbs up + button if I have helped you and click Accept as Solution if your problem is solved.
