Product: Hp pavilion 500 series
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Can someone help me my old video card died and i want to take a new one but i don’t  know which one to take

For meaningful help, the rest of the model number is needed.  That being HP Pavilion 500-****.  Fill in the *** with the numbers.

That way, the old card can be identified and the prospects for a replacement card.

It’s 500-226el 

and the old card is amd radeon r7 240 2 gb gddr3

Thank you for the additional info.  The trouble is - I cannot find the specs for your PC on the HP support pages.  It does list the PC but not the specs.  So, if you just want a replacement, use the same model graphics card, just replace it.  If you are looking for a slightly better card, the amd radeon r7 250 should also work.  If you wish to go with a much better graphics card, it might require a power supply upgrade, but stay in the AMD Radeon R7 line.
