What CPUs will my Omen motherboard support? Compatibility question

Hi,

We're currently running this pc at work for engineering modelling and analysis and are finding it's under-performing on large scale applications. We want to upgrade the CPU. I'm having trouble finding the specific motherboard inside this PC on a pcpartspicker list or any such compatibility website. I'm posting in hopes that someone may be able to tell me what exactly I should search for, and/or flat out tell me what range of CPU's will fit my motherboard. I was looking at the i9-10980xe CPU but am fairly sure that will not fit this motherboard based on being a few generations apart and I've read that even the 9900K may not be compatible. This is based on words such as Tampa2 which isn't appearing in any compatibility list. We're looking for the most cores/best single core power per dollar.

Core i9 are not listed, I think it is because his TDP is too important. You can install a Core i7-9700K if you want 8 cores, but your i7-8700 is a very good processor and it is appropriated with all your configuration.
