What types of RAM does my desktop support and what is the maximum size? You would think this is an easy question addressed in the user manual or servicing guide. You would be wrong. The only thing I can find is a diagram pointing out where the SIMM slots are located. No information on compatible modules and/or maximum memory supported by the computer.

This company is usually accurate but they do not have RGB memory as I recall so no "bling"

An easy way to find what memory you have is to run the wmic app from the windows command prompt. Bring up the window 'cmd' prompt and enter the first line to set what memory you have. The second line may give the maximum memory possible based on the chipset. The number of memory sockets limit what can be added.

Thanks for the information. Crucial was able to identify the type and upper memory limit for my computer. Upper limit was probably my biggest concern. I didn't want to overbuy.
I have a closed case (no window) and don't care about RGB.
Thanks for the help.
