Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Looking to connect 2 external screens.  Only 1 HDMI port on Pavilion.  It appears most Hibs connect to the USB-C port ... however, all manufacturers are saying the Pavilion C-port is not adequate (not high enough power nor "video transporting") to attach a "hub system" to.   What can I do to add a hub equivalent to the Pavilion so I can add a 2nd external screen?   Thanks in advance.   Joe

The specs of your machine is

                 https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c05722217

It ONLY has 1 USB 3.1 Type-C™ Gen 1 (Data Transfer up to 5 Gb/s) port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to

  • Charge your machine,
  • Connect to an external monitor with/without hub/dock/adapter

If you wish to connect 2 external monitors (only), you can use

    Monitor 1: HDMI direct cable,

Monitor 2: Using a Displaylink Certified USB-A to HDMI adapter such as

                           USB to HDMI Adapter

For more connectivity, please use

                   True Universal Docking Stations

Regards.
