There is a blinking orange light on the front of the hard drive, next to the sd slots.  It is the second light down;  the top one is the blue light that indicates the power is on.  Immediately below the orange light is a picture of 3 disks on top of each other.  What is this light and why is it blinking?  I never noticed it before, although I can't say for sure if it's never been blinking.

Hey.....Its nothing to worry about, Its just an Indication that the hard drive is in use,  gathering/storing information. 99% percent of pcs will have this same indicator.

This orange light means the hard drive sensed movement and parked itself in order to avoid damage. It is neither bad nor good but tries to avoid movements that make it go orange.
