HP ENVY 34 inch All-in-One Desktop PC 34-c0000 (388P6AV)

I live in a place where blackouts are common. I purchased this PC and installed it with a 1200 VA UNIPOWER UPS.  Nevertheless, the UPS is NOT preventing the PC from shutting off when a blackout occurs.  The UPS works OK with other PCs in my office.  Do I need a more powerful unit for this computer?

Hi

You have indicated this specific UPS works fine with other PCs in the office. So you know the procedure.

The specs for the 720 watt UPS show half load of 12 minutes and full load of 3 minutes. I would guess you must be using the PowerPanel software.

An AIO PC could not be drawing more the 30 to 50 watts at idle, if that.

Are you connecting AC power to the PC using the correct outlet on the UPS? Do you have other simultaneous and power hungry devices connected to the UPS?

I don't know why this is happening if everything is configured correctly.

A technician from my local computer store recommended I use an APC 1200 VA 650 Watt UPS and it seems to have solved the problem.  I will test it for a few days  until I am sure it works correctly.  Thank you very much.
