What part number for a 1TB M2 SSD for the Slimline 290-A0046 desktop to insert in the m2 ssd slot

My HP slimline desktop 290-a0046 has a Cosmo A9 motherboard with a M2 SSD slot. I want to purchase a compatible 1TB M2 SSD drive for it. Can someone supply me with a compatible Seagate, or Samsung, or Crucial, or Kingston part number, please? Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, HP has not told us which "key" the M.2 socket has; either key M (NVMe) or key B+M (SATA): https://www.atpinc.com/blog/what-is-m.2-M-B-BM-key-socket-3

You can open the case to look careful at it to see which of the keys that it matches in the link above.

I believe that it is the key M, but want to make certain.  I don't want to have you pay to return one that doesn't fit.

Thanks Old_geekster. Your answer is the best I have had from anyone including the HP support and parts people. I have been trying to avoid opening the box and examining the M2 slot, but I agree that's the best solution for now. I watched the HP-produced videos on YouTube.com are ambiguous on this point.

It won't hurt a thing by opening the case.  Just touch some bare metal inside of the case before touching any of the components.  This will eliminate any Electrostatic Discharge (ESD).
