TPO1-2236

I would like to know what power supply and what wattage the TP01-2236 has and if I should get a gpu for it. It has intel intergrated graphics so i was planning to get maybe a rx 580, but on HP's website, It doesn't specify what PSU it has. Does anyone from HP or has this specific PC know what the wattage is?

The product specs for the PC indicate that it has this product number:  318A7AA

HP Pavilion Desktop TP01-2236 PC Product Specifications | HP® Support

According to the parts list, the PC comes with a 310W power supply.

HP PartSurfer

The RX 580 would require a 450W power supply and I don't even know if the 310W power supply has the supplemental 8-pin PCIe power connector you need to connect to the card.

You may want to consider getting a card that would work with the 310 W P/S your PC comes with.

If you want to install the RX580 the supported 500W power supply is HP part number L05757-800.

HP does not sell the 500W power supply, so you will have to find one on the secondary market (Amazon, eBay), or contact the HP authorized suppliers at the link below:
