Welcome to the forum.

I am not a HP employee.

 

I hope you are not running Windows XP (XP does not support M.2 devices). You should be running Windows 10.

 

Your PC has a M.2 socket. HP Consumer PCs usually run PCIe NVME M.2 SSDs. Samsung, Adata, Crucial, and other manufacturers make the drive you want. 22 mm by 80 mm (2280) is the standard device size you want to look at.

 

The M.2 socket on your motherboard should support a  2280 M.2 device.
