HP Notebook - 15-ay027ur (ENERGY STAR)

Hello. I want to install another WiFi module for 15-ay027ur laptop instead of the standard one. Currently installed RTL8723BE. What module with 5Ghz support could I buy? What module with 5Ghz support could I buy to make it work in a laptop?

Is this module compatible:
M.2 Realtek RTL8821CE TX/RX: 1x1 m.2 2230 m.2 PCIe

Or maybe this would work:
Qualcomm Atheros QCNFA435 TX/RX: 2x2 m.2 2230 m.2 PCIe

Or maybe you can recommend other compatible WiFi modules? What should I rely on when choosing?

There is only one dual band card that I know of that should work:

Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11 ac 1x1 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 4.2 Combo Adapter (MU-MIMO supported) HP part # L17365-005.

The card has a maximum throughput of 433 MBPS on the 5.0 GHz Wi-Fi band with an AC router and an excellent signal.

Yes, that's the one.

OK. Thank you again. I will mark your answer as correct and close the discussion after this chip is delivered to me. This will happen in the next two to three days.
Another question, where can I get a driver for it then? Which one will work?

You're very welcome.

W10 should automatically recognize the card and install the drivers.

These are the latest W10 Wi-Fi and Bluetooth drivers for the RTL8821CE...they will be newer than whatever W10 installs.
