Hello, I want to upgrade my PC to a SSD.
The SATA port of this PC, is SATA 3, SATA 2 or SATA?
Specifications do not show SATA version.
Thanks
Jaime

It does have SATA 3 controller and support SATA 3 drives. You can upgrade to SATA 3 SSD drive.

Hello..... please let me another question regarding this same thing.
Can you recommend a good software to clone my current HDD to the new SSD drive? Since this PC only has 1 SATA connector, I will connect the SSD to the USB port using an adaptor momentarily, so I will clone the HDD and then, when I replace it, I should be able to boot from the SSD.
Thanks
Jaime

1.Cloning: Very good few free software around
https://www.techrepublic.com/blog/five-apps/five-free-and-reliable-cloning-tools/
2. SATA port: I did say you have to replace existing HDD, you don't need more SATA port, just plug to the existing one. Only 1 thing you need: Your existing HDD could be 3.5" and SS" is only 2.5" therefore you need
There are many cheaper around.
Regards.

Hello,
I need to have both disks simultaneously connected just for cloning. That is why I will use a Sata to USB adapter I already have.
On the other hand, I am looking for a 2.5" to 3.5" adapter in local market so that I could replace the HDD just after cloning.
Thanks and regards
Jaime

Yes, you need to connect your new disk to computer for cloning and one USB - SATA adapter is all you need.
Regards.
