HP ProDesk 600 G4 Desktop Mini PC (2YE29AV)
Ubuntu LTS

Hello,

I have the Prodesk G4 600 mini with 8500T, 8GB ram and a 2.5"ssd running Ubuntu LTS.

Can I add two 2TB NVME in the two available slots on the MB for media storage on one 2TB NVME and back that one up to the second 2TB NVME? In the Maintenance and Service Guide it mentions NVME drives only up to 1TB.

Will this pc accept the 2TB NVME? x2?

Also will the 65 watt power supply be enough?

This will be attached to the LG tv via hdmi with Plex installed as an HTPC light duty media server, nas kind of thing if that is possible. We have two other tvs with AFT Cubes for Plex clients to access to access media from the 600 G4. It should not be overly stressed with just two of us living here.

Thank you

@bmbm40,

Welcome to our HP User Forum!

In addition to agreeing with @banhien's response, to answer your question regarding your stock 65-watt power supply: I would recommend upgrading to a 90-watt power supply such as this example: https://www.amazon.com/Charger-Adapter-ProDesk-EliteDesk-Business/dp/B08GS8NVD6.

Kind Regards,
