I bought my HP Pavillion Elite PC a while ago abd has been using the HP wireless keyboard and mouse that comes with it. Recently my wife did some key combination and now the some keys on the keyboard produced two characters. For example, typing "k" will produce "ik", typing "s" will produce "ws". It's driving me nuts! I discover that if I press and hold the FN key, the keys will behave normally. I suspect somehow the FN key is locked.
I have search the net for hours, tried various combo like FN+NumLk, FN+F11, etc ... it doesn't solve the problem.

Thanks for the link. However I have read through the articles, and it did not mention anything about unlocking the FN key. I just need to know what is the key combo to unlock FN key, which I suspect is the problem.

the keyboard is not set to cap lock. I mean, I have tried enabling cap-lock, disable it, enabling num lock, disabling it, etc. I still think it is because the FN key is locked and i don't know how to unlock it. Isnt there some kind of key combo to unlock the HP wireless keyboard's FN key?
