Thanks

@Tim631 Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that you would like to disable the hotkeys on the wireless keyboard.

Unfortunately, It is not possible to disable the hotkeys on the Wireless keyboard.

Only selected laptops have this option.

Please see the following link.

Thanks for the reply, the answer is the one I feared because looking at the HP website there is no wired (and white) alternative to match my Pavillion desktop.

At the time of purchase I didn't consider this aspect, so I'll have to get over it and buy from another manufacturer instead.

Perhaps you can confirm that there is or isn't a white alternative, I would really prefer an HP keyboard.

If you can reply  I'd be happy to 'accept as solution'.

Many thanks

Thank you for the information.

As your product have the USB port, you can use the wired keyboard.

You could purchase the part from HP, use the HP Parts surfer to identify the part: http://partsurfer.hp.com/search.aspx

And order it via the HP Parts store: https://parts.hp.com/hpparts/CountryChoice.aspx?mscssid=&ccode=ZZ&lcode=ZZ

Or alternatively, Contact HP for setting up an order/service via phone support.

 Have a nice day!!

Thanks for the links, the keyboards marked for Pavillion (that I saw) are not available and continued browsing of the extensive list, having no pictures and simply part numbers, is frustrating to say the least.

I appreciate your speedy replies and ongoing service but I think I may as well call it a day and buy elsewhere.

Given that it is my oversight and this was a hopeful enquiry I am happy to give a thumbs up and give you an 'Accept the solution' .

Kind regard
