Product: HP Z4 G4 Workstation
Hi,
I have a modified HP Z4 G4 Workstation, which now requires a few upgrades in terms of storage. The (QuickSpecs, HP Z4 G4 Workstation) datasheet mentions that there is a max total size for SATA HDDs is 16 TB in total. What exactly does this refer to? Does this refer to:
- a maximum size of discs in total (including M.2 SSDs) to 16TB?
- a maximum of total HDD storage space of 16 TB?
- a maximum of total SATA storage space of 16 TB?
- a maximum of how much storage HP would sell their workstations with?
- something else?
I wish to install a 4TB M.2 SSD in the second M.2 slot, and a 12 TB SATA HDD on the computer. There is already a 1TB M.2 SSD in the first M.2 slot and a 4TB HDD in one SATA slot. Would this be compatible with the Z4 G4 Workstation (Intel Xeon W Processor) motherboard?
Best regards,
Jonathan
