HP Recommended
Z640 Workstation
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I have been using the HP Turbo Z G2 in several Z640 Workstations. Although they work just fine, I'd like to use something different. I'd like to know if anyone could share their experience when using aftermarket PCIe adapter cards with the Z440, Z640 or Z840 Workstations.

I'm looking at the following items:

Sabrent NVMe M.2 SSD to PCIe X16/X8/X4 Card with Aluminum Heat Sink (EC-PCIE)

Sabrent 1TB Rocket NVMe 4.0 Gen4 PCIe M.2 Internal SSD Extreme Performance Solid State Drive (SB-ROCKET-NVMe4-1TB)

Hopefully someone has some experience using non-HP PCIe adapter cards with your choice of NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD drives.

Thanks in advance,
